During your appointment, the roots are carefully tightened using the method best suited to your hair and wick maturity (typically crochet/root tightening and separation as needed). Special attention is given to keeping the base clean and preventing neighboring wicks from growing together, while maintaining consistent sizing and a smooth, cylindrical look. The service is finished with a complete dry to help set the tightening and extend your results. Timing and pricing vary based on the number of wicks, length, density, and how much new growth you have. For best results, arrive with your hair clean and fully dry (unless you’ve added a wash-and-dry option), and be prepared to share your last maintenance date so we can keep your wick routine on track.
