Loc Repair Consultation is a personalized assessment designed to identify what’s causing thinning, breakage, slipping, or weak spots in your locs—and to create a clear plan to restore and protect them. This is the best first step if you’re unsure what type of repair you need, how many locs are affected, or whether your locs can be saved versus restarted. During the consultation, your scalp and locs are examined (especially the roots, hairline, and crown) to evaluate loc health, tension history, buildup, and the severity of the damage. We’ll discuss your current routine, maintenance schedule, and styling habits, then recommend the most effective repair option—such as crochet reinforcement, reattachment, rebuilding weak areas, or a targeted maintenance plan. You’ll also receive guidance on aftercare and how to prevent the issue from returning. Please arrive with your hair clean and fully dry, with your locs down and accessible (no fresh styles that hide the roots). Clear photos may be requested in advance. Consultation fees, timing, and whether the fee can be applied toward your repair service will be confirmed at booking.
