Interlock (Loc Maintenance) is a long-lasting root-tightening service that secures your new growth by threading the loc through the base in a controlled pattern. It’s a great option for clients who want a clean look that holds up well between appointments, wash frequently, work out often, or prefer minimal frizz at the roots. During your appointment, each loc is carefully interlocked to tighten the new growth while maintaining your parting pattern and protecting the health of your scalp. Special attention is given to tension control—especially around the hairline and crown—to help prevent stress and keep your locs consistent as they mature. This service focuses on maintenance only and does not include styling unless added separately. Timing and pricing vary based on loc size, length, density, and how much new growth you have. For best results, arrive with your hair clean and fully dry (unless you’ve added a wash-and-dry option), and be ready to share your last maintenance date so we can keep your routine on track.
